Design Pavilion, the "Italian Stone Theatre" in Hall 1. This year's theme of the exhibition is "Naturality", which underlines the uniqueness and geodiversity of natural stone. In collaboration with the Italian design studio "Draw" by Luca Martorano and Mattia Albicini (www.drawstudio.eu), we have created an installation that reflects the history of the creation of an object made of natural stone. In this exciting composition, the transformation of a raw block into a design table can be traced as a flowing process and, thus, man's connection to nature. We use the refreshing blue granite Azul Aran from our own Spanish quarry. Please find attached the according rendering.
