Breccia Pompei is a precious brecciated marble from Iran, characterised by an intense and sophisticated colour palette, featuring shades ranging from pink to red, through to the lighter tones of cream and beige. What makes it particularly distinctive is, above all, its brecciated structure, which is determined by the striking combination of angular calcareous fragments of varying sizes. The clasts, in shades of beige and cream, alternate to create a natural pattern rich in movement, whilst the matrix that binds them together features warm shades of red, pink and terracotta. The presence of large clasts lends the surface a striking and dynamic character, accentuated by the contrast with the smaller fragments. This interplay of shapes, sizes and colours creates a unique natural pattern.
