Tribal Masks

Tribal sculptures for the present. Collectible masks.

For Marmomac 2022, we embarked on a journey between myth and matter. Together with Draw Studio, we brought new life to five tribal ceremonial masks – Songye, Fang, Chugach, Aduma, and Dogon – sculpted in our natural stones.
Inspired by ancient African cultures and reinterpreted through contemporary design and stone craftsmanship, these sculptures evoke rituals, symbols, and profound meanings.

Songye, inspired by the Congolese people, features bold traits and totemic volumes.
Aduma, with its sharp and austere face, recalls the “men of the river” of Gabon: pure lines, stern gaze, and commanding presence.
Fang, echoing the abstract essence that inspired Fauvism and the early 20th-century avant-garde.
Dogon, a vertical, sculptural mask filled with symbolism, rooted in Malian tradition and reinterpreted with an architectural language.
Chugach, inspired by Inuit rituals from Alaska, fuses spirituality and raw nature in a penetrating, archaic form.

Today, the masks are available for reproduction and sale in a limited edition – as collectible artworks, installations for public spaces, or unique interior design pieces
